Who We are:

Only minutes from Sunset Beach, Little River and N. Myrtle Beach. Emberwood is nestled within a unique ecosystem bordering the enchanted Scippio Creek in beautiful Brunswick County. Our focus encompasses a varied array of conservation efforts towards both domestic and exotic animals as well as native wildlife species. Emberwood provides feeding stations throughout the 74 acres for hundreds of native migratory birds who continue to visit throughout the year and return annually.  

At Emberwood Farm we are genuinely a Steward to the land.  We harvest fresh mulberries and pecans annually, grow an array of bamboo, even gather fiber from our llamas for bird nesting materials.  Every task is purposely driven for our animals and the complex ecosystem of the land. Guest interactions with the resident animals are strictly consensual. This respectful non-exploitive approach provides a unique and enriching animal experience where our animals will enjoy you, as much as you will enjoy them. It’s a truly special moment for both. Our many animals are family, and we enjoy sharing them with you. We are proud to invite our guests to experience the magic of Emberwood.
